The total capital intensity of the market is <strong>estimated at $320 million<\/strong>, which indicates a high interest in this sector from businesses and private investors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main trends in 2024:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"trx_addons_list_success\">\n<li>Growth in solar panel imports &#8211; 884 MW of photomodules were imported to Ukraine in 10 months of 2024, which is about 3 times more than in the same period in 2023.<\/li>\n<li>Market expansion &#8211; the number of importing companies increased from 233 to 451, which indicates increased competition and availability of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Reduction in the cost of building a solar power plant &#8211; the average price of 1 MW of solar energy built is about $400,000 or $400 per 1 kW.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are about 100 large and medium-sized companies on the market, as well as hundreds of small contractors represented by teams of 5-10 electricians.
